Agaricus

Originally the rainforests of Brazil are the home to the Agaricus blazei murrill. The mushroom, also called almond mushroom, is a tasty edible mushroom with a fine almond flavor. Nowadays the ABM has become more popular, thanks to its spectrum of activity and is cultivated in large quantities worldwide.

As a medicinal mushroom, it has a relatively young history. Established science has only been aware of the fungus for around 35 years. Since then, however, it has been intensively researched due to its high quality ingredients.

In addition to vitamins and minerals, the Agaricus contains above all the highest polysaccharide content of all known medicinal mushrooms. Especially the B-D-glucan, which is very important for our immune sytem. The proportion of ergosterol, a vitamin D precursor, is also noteworthy.
